OTE Tower

The OTE Tower is an iconic structure located in the heart of the TIF HELEXPO International Exhibition and Convention Center in the center of Thessaloniki. It is a 76-meter-high structure, located within the grounds of the Thessaloniki International Exhibition and is the only Tower in our country. It was designed by architect Alexandros Anastasiadis.

The study of the telecommunications tower project was carried out in an unusually short period of time and was completed in two phases. In the first phase, in 1969, the general architectural and structural study was carried out, and the foundation, basement and first floor were constructed, and it operated for the first time in September 1969 as the OTE pavilion at the 34th Thessaloniki International Exhibition. Today, the OTE Tower has evolved into a modern telecommunications tower and the top of the tower houses the revolving restaurant SKYLINE Café-Bar.
