Church of Agios Charalampos - Dependency of the Mount Athos Monastery of Simonopetra

In the narrow Exadactulou Street, vertical to Egnatia Street, we can find the Dependency of Mount Athos Monastery of Simonopetra with the church of Agios Charalambos.

The present church was built in the 1905 on the site of an older one. In the yard we can see two of the dependency lodgins. The dependency was constructed before the 18^th century. In the church there is a significant number of post-Byzantine icons, representative samples of the icon-painting of the era on Mount Athos and in Thessaloniki.

Hours: Every day 7:00 - 12:00 and 17:00 - 19:00
