11th Giorgos Thymis International Piano Competition 2025 with audiovisual support from ARTiCON
This premier musical event for the city of Thessaloniki is organized every two years by the Friends of the Thessaloniki State Orchestra Association, in collaboration with the Orchestra and the Thessaloniki Concert Hall.
The Final Round of the "George Thymis" International Piano Competition was a unique experience, with the finalists offering exceptional performances, on Friday, January 31, 2025, at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall (Building M1).
1st Prize & Audience Award: Miloš Grnčaroski
2nd Prize: Ivan Shemchuk
3rd Prize: Dominic Degavino
Best Greek Contestant Award: Filivos Gatzios (for another year!)
ARTiCON once again took over the videography and audiovisual coverage throughout the competition, from January 23 to 31, 2025. The competition is divided into three rounds, the preliminary round, the semi-final and the final at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall.
